Sketch comedy: You write it, but you want someone else to read it? You like to say things, but don’t know what to say? The wait is OVER! SketchFest is putting on a Cold Read Sketch Night. Performers from groups around town will be available to read any, ANY sketches that are put in their hands.
-Have a sketch about a log getting eaten by termites on a space ship! BOOM! Performed.
-Have a list of curse words and mythical beasts artistically arranged for dramatic effect? POW! Actorated.
-Want to watch two guys hi-fiving each other for 3 minutes straight during the battle of Normandy? ZAP! Shakespeared.
“Whoa I’m worried I might not have a performance-ready sketch!”
Don’t worry! This is super low key.
“Actually, I don’t have any sketches! Should I come?”
Heck yes! This is just a night for sketch comedy enthusiasts to hang out, drink some brewskies, and watch people massacre some written word. We’re going to be there. Are you? You are.
