Charles: The Ace of Bass Final Weekend!

Seattle comedy fans! Pay attention!

Charles: The Ace of Bass approaches its final weekend this weekend, August 5th and 6th. That is news in and of itself.

However!

There’s been a venue change. Charles will be performing their final weekend in Ballard’s own Ballard Underground. The venue is at 2220 NW Market Street in Ballard, natch. It’s a basement venue with a fairly low profile entrance, so be on the watch out for Sonic Boom records. Entrance to the Underground is just to the right.

Sketch In Seattle

Holy crap there’s a lot of sketch coming up here in the Emerald City!

Or, as it’s know around here in the summertime: Rain City.

First off, local duo Charles is doing their first original full-length show at the Satori Loft: Charles: Ace of Bass. Check out their Facebook page for details.

Secondly, the Disgruntled Bit Players (DBP, if you’re nasty) are back for one night only! July 31st at the Rendezvous. More details here.

Thirdly, the annual Bumbershoot festival is right around the corner, and aside from all of the great comedy you’ll find that weekend, SketchFest Seattle has an hour slot on Sunday. Check out the Bumbershoot festival schedule for all pertinent details.

And finally, our annual festival is coming up on October 6th through the 9th at Theatre Off Jackson. We’re getting some great submissions both from here in Seattle, and from all across the globe (well, Canada). If you have a sketch comedy group and you want to show off your comedy to some great audiences here in Seattle, check out our submissions guidelines.

Or… OR! If you can’t make it out for the festival, but you have a hilarious video you want to enter into our Comedy Film Festival, click here for details.
